So New York has been pretty hectic, part of the reason I haven’t been able to post. Life is crazy here, things move so fast there is no time to stop and relax. Today I finally have a break, after morning meetings with Morgan Stanley, I am off shopping and site seeing before my banquet dinner at the Billionaire, William P. Carey’s penthouse apartment. Should be quite an event, especially since he is the founder of my business school, the W. P. Carey school of Business at Arizona State. Back to the rest of this week, hectic explains it all. Yesterday, I had several meetings throughout the day and got lost going to all of them. Instead of getting of at the Wall Street exit I ended up crossing the bridge and heading into the wrong part of Brooklyn. I got it all settled but stressed me out for a while. Networking has been very successful, still undecided if I want to pursue an internship next summer or just travel but having the contacts there is never a bad scenario. Last night was also pretty crazy with the Yankees winning the world series. I am staying in Times Square and it was quite a party with people rioting, dancing on cars and all. I am excited for the parade on Friday, trying to work it in between my meetings. Anyways, sorry I haven’t been able to post this week about the stocks and the markets though will be back at it next week. Flying home early Sunday morning to make it to the USC vs Arizona State football game. I’ll try to get in another post before I leave though that all depends on timing.
